Computers & Wireless
- Free public access to high-speed Internet. (depending on demand time limits do apply).
- A scanner is provided.
- Printing is provided at .25 cents a page for black and white.
- Free wifi connection 24/7( if you have a problem connecting, it is recommended you disconnect your firewall)
- A laptop is provided for the purpose of searching for catalogued material.
Your Library is a CAP Site
The Community Access Program was developed by Industry Canada in 1995 to help communities in rural and remote areas obtain public access to the internet. This is done through the establishment community based public internet access facilities.
CAP is not just about computers and the internet. It's about people and communities across the country having the same opportunities to learn new skills and explore the world. Geographical boundaries disappear at a CAP site, providing a window on the virtual world.
Borrow a Galt Museum Pass!
Library patrons can now check out a Family pass to the Galt Museum and Archives for a seven day period.
The pass allows two adults and two children to visits all the exhibits at the museum.
